CTS(N,B) Series Permanent Magnetic Drum Magnetic Separator
CTS(N,B) Series Permanent Magnetic Drum Magnetic Separator is used for wet separation of fine-grained strongly magnetic minerals, or removing strongly magnetic minerals mixed in non-magnetic ores. This machine allows continuous feeding and discharging. It features large magnetic field depth, wide working gap and high processing capacity.
Application Scope
CTS(N,B) Series Permanent Magnetic Drum Magnetic Separator is used for wet separation of fine-grained strongly magnetic minerals, or removing strongly magnetic minerals mixed in non-magnetic ores. This machine allows continuous feeding and discharging. It features large magnetic field depth, wide working gap and high processing capacity.
When slurry flows into the magnetic zone, strongly magnetic minerals are attracted onto the drum surface, while weakly magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are thrown out and discharged. The attracted strongly magnetic minerals rotate with the drum and move out of the magnetic field, then are flushed into the concentrate tank by washing water to complete the separation process.
One single drum can be equipped with three types of troughs: concurrent trough (CTS), counter-current trough (CTN) and semi-counter-current trough (CTB), to meet different separation requirements.
The concurrent trough is suitable for roughing and cleaning of ores with particle size of 6-0mm. The counter-current trough applies to roughing and scavenging of ores with particle size of 0.6-0mm, as well as dense medium recovery in coal washing industry. The semi-counter-current trough is designed for roughing and cleaning of ores with particle size of 0.5-0mm, especially for cleaning of minerals with particle size of 0.15-0mm.
