Overview
The lime slaker is designed for hydrating quicklime during sinter batching to produce hydrated lime. Thanks to its large specific surface area, hydrated lime can improve the yield and stability of mixed pellets. This series consists of single-shaft and twin-shaft types with multiple models. Developed by drawing on the practical experience of lime slakers from numerous steel plants at home and abroad, and optimized on the basis of traditional slakers and humidifiers, it is a new generation of lime hydration system widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, power plants, boilers and other sectors.
Equipment Composition
A complete unit is mainly composed of housing, transmission mechanism, stirring assembly and water supply device. The housing is fitted with material inlet and outlet. The stirrer is rotatably installed inside the housing via bearing seats and connected with the transmission mechanism for driven operation. One end of the water supply device extends into the housing, while the other end is connected to the water source. It can adjust the water supply volume according to the weight of materials to be mixed.
Performance Features
It delivers excellent mixing performance. The twin shafts rotate in opposite directions with powerful stirring force to fully blend water and quicklime. The blades on two shafts mutually clean each other and crush agglomerates to ensure smooth discharging, and realize effective mixing of lime with water or wastewater.
It adopts a unique anti-leakage structure. Bearings of conventional slakers are easily invaded by lime slurry, which greatly affects service reliability. This series applies split bearing seats and special sealing structure on the cylinder to solve the problem effectively.
It features steam and dust isolation. The front section adopts screw blades matched with cylindrical shell for effective sealing, which prevents steam and dust generated during hydration from escaping out of the inlet. It avoids measurement errors caused by condensed water and sludge on the upper weighing equipment. Large amounts of steam produced in the hydration process can be exhausted outdoors through dedicated pipelines, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
Compact overall structure. The optimized stirring design shortens the overall length compared with traditional products and saves floor space.
