Application Scope

The pressure-resistant weighing coal feeder is developed on the basis of electronic belt scales to meet the special requirements of positive-pressure coal feeding, metering and control for circulating fluidized bed boilers. It is a fully sealed and pressure-resistant coal feeding equipment integrating conveying, metering, control and pressure resistance functions. It is applicable to positive-pressure direct-fired feeding systems for fluidized bed boilers with turbulent flow field and fast bed inside the furnace. Featuring simple structure and easy maintenance, it realizes continuous, uniform and reliable coal feeding. During operation, it can accurately weigh materials and display instantaneous and cumulative coal feed quantity. It automatically adjusts the coal feed rate according to commands from the boiler combustion control system to match boiler load requirements. The equipment effectively improves material fluidization inside the boiler with fast load regulation. It facilitates the proportion control of solid materials and boiler bed temperature adjustment, and enables sufficient mixing of fuel and desulfurizer for better desulfurization effect. It delivers continuous coal feeding, high weighing accuracy, stable operation, energy saving and high efficiency. It can also realize open-loop and closed-loop flow control as well as plant local network management upon user's request.
